Consumer Confidence Report
Revised January 1, 2002

Introduction
This report is designed to inform you about the quality of water provided to you by Scheopner's Water Conditioning.

Scheopner's Bottled Water meets all federal and state health standards. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates bottled water, wheras the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulates tap water. Standards of bottled water quality enacted by the FDA must be equal to or more protective of the public health than the EPA standards, known as Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCL), are for tap water.

Ensuring the safety of the bottled water we provide is our primary objective.

Our Source for Water
Scheopner's Water Conditioning uses Garden City municipal water supply as a source water. We test our source water to verify its safety and to make any needed adjustments to our treatment system.

How Scheopner's Water is Prepared
Scheopner's Water employs a multi-barrier approach to ensure the safety and high quality of our product.

STEP 1
Our source water travels through a high capacity water softener to make the water less corrosive to our equipment.

STEP 2
The water then passes through two seperate carbon filtration units which remove any organic or chemical contaminants, such as chlorine. The carbon filtration units are regularly backwashed and disinfected to ensure the removal of contamination.

STEP 3
The water then passes through a 5 micron filter to remove any remaining suspended particles.

STEP 4
The water then passes through a combination of five seperate *Reverse Osmosis Units. A process that removes nearly all (greater than 98%) of the Total Disolved Solids (TDS) from the water. The TDS would include any sodium, salts, and minerals.

*Reverse Osmosis works by forcing water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane (water passes through, the dissolved solids do not).

STEP 5
The purified water then travels into large stainless steel storage tanks where the *Ozonation process occurs.

*Ozone is oxygen (O3 to be exact). Ozone is a powerful disinfectant used to eliminate any microbiological contaminants such as Cryptosporidium or other water borne bacteria. Ozone is bubbled through the circulating water in the storage tanks and ozone is then directly injected into the water immediately prior to the water entering the bottle. Once in the bottle, ozone gradually dissipates or converts back to O2 (the form of oxygen we breath), thus leaving no residual taste or odor.

Our Company's Water Testing
Scheopner's Water Conditioning goes to every effort to test and ensure our product quality. Scheopner's Water is electronically monitored 24 hours a day for total dissolved solids. We run tests with every daily batch of water for over 25 different parameters and contaminants, including bacteria with our own in house lab. Our water is tested weekly by an independent laboratory for FDA parameters. Annually, we voluntarily submit to an extensive water analysis, testing for over 1,500 possible contaminants, performed by a National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certified laboratory. As in accordance with our voluntary membership in the International Bottled Water Association we have an annual unannounced plant inspection performed by the NSF. This inspection involves all areas of production from paperwork, testing, personnel certification, cleanliness, and hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. No contaminants have been detected above FDA's limits in our water as demonstrated on the attached analysis. There have been no violations of any FDA Standards of Quality.
